How to reach us
FROM THE NORTH: Take the A1 motorway to the Valdichiana exit, merge onto the Siena-Perugia highway and exit at Castiglione del Lago, continuing straight towards Chiusi.
After about 12 km from Castiglione del Lago, turn right and follow the signs for Paciano. At the fork, continue towards the town on your left and continue straight.
Alternatively, you can also continue on the motorway to the next exit (Chiusi-Chianciano) and follow the directions below.
FROM THE SOUTH: Take the A1 motorway to the Chiusi-Chianciano exit, follow the signs first for Chiusi and then for Castiglione del Lago. After about 7 km from Chiusi, turn right and follow the signs for Paciano.
At this point, there are two options for reaching the farmhouse:
If you're traveling by car
Via the Strada Bianca di Borgarucci: from the crossroads, continue along the road for approximately 4 km until you come to a fork on the left with a sign for Collevarche. Take this fork and follow the asphalt road to the end (400 m), passing the hamlet of Borgarucci, then take the dirt road that goes uphill and after 250 metres turn right and follow the road downhill that leads to the gate.
If you're traveling by motorcycle
Via the Strada Bianca di Paciano: From the Collevarche crossroads, continue straight for 1 km towards the center of town until you reach Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. Continue along Via Serafini and take the first right. Cross Via della Valle and take the small road downhill. Follow the dirt road for 700 meters until you reach the gate.
Important Notice
The property is located on a scenic overlook in the countryside and is reached via unpaved dirt roads. These roads are easily accessible by any vehicle and in all weather conditions, but we recommend proceeding with caution as there are speed bumps for water drainage.
Important Notice for Motorcycle Arrivals
We recommend that motorcycle travelers notify the property and use the road through Paciano, which is definitely the most suitable for two-wheelers (DO NOT USE THE BORGARUCCI ROAD).
Important Notice for Satellite Navigation
We would like to inform future guests that some brands of satellite navigation systems have map errors or have not indexed our access roads. Therefore, the address you must enter is: Borgarucci Paciano. Once you reach the end of the paved road, take the uphill dirt road (Borgarucci) indicated by the sign.
Important Notice for Google Maps
When entering the property name into Google Maps, only choose the route that passes through the hamlet of BORGARUCCI, even if it is longer! Map errors in Google Maps may give you options that include roads not suitable for cars!
Borgarucci Road (for those traveling by car)
This dirt road is about 300 meters long.
At the end of the paved road, a climb begins that passes through an olive grove, where there are speed bumps to drain rainwater. To travel this road safely, we recommend traveling at a slow but steady speed!
After turning, you must descend (steep in the first section) to the gate. This section also features speed bumps, so descend slowly!
Not suitable for motorcycles!
Strada di Paciano (for motorcycles)
This dirt road is about 700 meters long.
This is the most practical and safe way to reach the B&B by motorcycle. It's a dirt road (unpaved road) that passes through a small wood and an olive grove, and it's recommended to keep your speed low!
From the town center, you can reach the B&B directly where the road ends.
