The House…
Once upon a time, there was a farmhouse from 1846 — perhaps the home of a land steward — nestled within an olive grove still in production and gently protected by the quiet presence of the nearby woods. You reach it by following a country road of about 400 meters, a slow approach that eases you into the landscape, and then a short descent marked by small natural bumps shaped by the flow of rainwater.
As this is a rural road not owned by the property, it may have uneven sections and requires careful driving; for this reason, we invite you to consider it thoughtfully, as part of the authentic experience of the place.
In front of the house lies a private courtyard where you can park your car, directly facing the Colibrì room and the Spa. From here, the view opens wide over the village of Paciano — one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy — and continues to glide softly across the hills until it reaches Lake Trasimeno and beyond, in a horizon that shifts its light throughout the day, accompanying every moment with natural harmony.
Around the farmhouse stretches an evergreen garden, shaped by rosemary hedges, flowers, and fragrant roses that accompany each step with simple grace. A small portico welcomes slow moments, a place to pause and chat with us while time gently finds its rhythm.
Here, sunsets become different and unforgettable every evening, while the nearby woods change color with the passing seasons, offering a landscape that renews itself without ever repeating. Around the property, our three little ducks wander freely and undisturbed, and Mya — our tiny poodle — observes the world with her light steps, between the song of the nightingale and an air that smells of nature at every hour of the day.
From the property, a second exit is also accessible — necessary for cars — leading to the village of Paciano along a dirt road that crosses the woods. The same path can also be walked in about 700 meters, following a simple route immersed in greenery.
And so, among light, silence, and small details, every stay here becomes a story to live… Just like all stories that begin with
“Once upon a time.”
